I am very sorry for your family\'s loss. Rick was one of the nicest people I know. I lived across the street from the Rightnowar family for 12 years. Rick and I were childhood friends. He always had a smile on his face and was a great friend. My condolences and prayers for your loss.

My husband Mike was Ricky\'s basketball and baseball coach at McGregor Elementary. I was the official scorekeeper. Ricky was a superb athlete and a wonderful young man. As the parents of five boys we could truly appreciate a polite, well-mannered, and a healthy wholesome personality. When we moved from McGregor back to our hometown Ricky even stayed with us for a couple days as a member of a Washington Local all star baseball team we entered in a pony league tournament out here. I still remember his awesome curve ball. My husband remembers his awesome pick off move to first base. Jim and Ron? You taught him well!! He once told my husband he had to practice basketball every day. Why? His brothers made him. We followed Ricky\'s stunning career over the years. Ricky was one of those kids we were proud to say we knew him when he was young! God bless his family at this time.

I met Rick thru the late “Big John Gottschalk” at Brondes, when I was looking for a car. Rick and I became friends and I valued our relationship. I enjoyed our conversations when I Volunteered at The Koman Race for the Cure, greeting runners at Brondes Maumee. Most recently I talked with Rick when I was going to purchase a Ford vehicle. My sympathy to the family.

Words can't express the shock and grief I am experiencing. We have been team members and part of the Brondes family for over twenty years. We've been through good times and bad times together. Losing Rick leaves a void that will never be completely filled. He touched so many lives and we were all the better for it. My prayers are with all of the family. I will miss you my friend and brother. I'll be seeing you.

I am so sorry to hear of Rick’s passing. I am his 4th grade teacher. I remember that when Rick was in my class, he was a little taller than me. By the time he was in the 6th grade he would pat me on top of the head as he walked by me. He was the only student who ever attempted it. He and I exchanged smiles. He was one of my special students one ever forgets. My thought and prayers to all. He touched may lives and will be missed. Mary Twining
